Learn About Different Types of Parents at “Cry it Out” at Studio Theatre
If you’re a parent, or know someone who is, you’ll probably identify with the pair of female protagonists who star in Cry It Out at Studio Theatre. At first glance, it might seem like the two have very little in common. One is a high-powered lawyer, the other doesn’t even have a college education, but they learn to relate when they both become mothers.
The women live next to each other and have both recently begun to navigate the waters of stay-at-home parenting. They venture out into their adjoining yards, baby monitors in hand, to discuss everything from operating on zero sleep to dealing with babysitters that leave them in the lurch. This candid comedy is currently playing at Studio Theatre and will remain here through December 16th, so snag tickets now (starting at $20).
