Tour Tudor Place for $1 During “Washington Dollar Days: Tour for a Buck”

From now until February 28, you can tour the 1816 Tudor Place home for just $1. This registered National Historic Landmark was lived in by six generations of a single family, and the home and gardens offer a fascinating look back into American history.

During Washington Dollar Days: Tour for a Buck, you’ll pay $1 to explore the home with a self-guided garden map and audio tour. Tudor Place is the only home in Washington with ties to George Washington and his wife, Martha, and during the tour, you’ll also get to admire parts of the Washington Collection. Outside, the gardens are beautiful year round, while inside, you can get up close and personal with the home’s antique furnishings and incredible architecture.

Tours are offered every day except Monday, and the last tour ends at 3 p.m. To schedule yours, visit the Tudor Place website and sign up on the registration page.
