The Classic Cinderella Story is Reimagined With “Into the Woods” at Ford’s Theatre

Fans of the fantastical movie adaption of Into the Woods are in for a treat. The original Stephen Sondheim fairy tale is on stage throughout the month of March at the historic Ford’s Theatre in downtown DC, and it’s one theater production you won’t want to miss.

This adventurous tale takes the classic stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Cinderella and turns them on their heads, weaving all the characters together in a fresh and funny parable. Into the Woods is a timeless story about going the distance to get what you want, all while providing a new perspective about familiar characters you know and love. Veteran Director Peter Flynn returns to lead the cast of superb acting talent, and the performance is completed by the original Tony-award winning score.

Tickets start at $27, and both afternoon matinee and evening performances are available. Into the Woods is recommended for guests ages 12 and over.
