July 17 Near The Woodley: The Time Machine Roast With DC Improv

You can’t accuse the fine folks of the DC Improv of running out of interesting show ideas. The latest production is The Time Machine Roast, and features various historical figures transported through time to the stage for a gold, old fashioned roast. Some of the funniest comedians in DC will be in costume and in character to play everyone from famous writer Mark Twain to infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar. No one will be spared as they mercilessly make jokes at each other’s expense. If you love the Comedy Central Roasts on TV, then this is the show for you.

The Time Machine Roast takes the stage on Friday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the DC Improv Comedy Club & Restaurant. Admission is just $15, and promises to be a unique night of laughs for anyone who loves a little bit of history (or just a ruthless zinger). Get tickets on the DC Improv website, and be sure to read all the seating and admission policies before you attend the show.
